March 23, 2023BibliMags on trial at CHU Sainte-Justine for children and parents in care
beConect, a proud associate in BibliMags, is pleased to partner with the CHU Ste-Justine library for the 115th anniversary of the founding of Sainte-Justine Hospital by offering the BibliMags service on trial everywhere inside the hospital facilities until December 31, 2022.
Patients are already able to read digital magazines and newspapers on the web or via the BibliMags app during their stay on site, helping to bring well-being and amusement to children and parents in care.
Children can browse their favorite youth magazines in French such as Les Débrouillards, Curium and Les Explorateurs from Publications BLD, co-owned by Bayard Canada, or even Faunetastique, Science & Vie Découvertes, Science & Vie Junior and Biosphere, and in English Owl, Chicadee and Chirp form Bayard Canada. Parents on their side can read from a vast choice of +7000 titles in 60 languages including: Elle Québec, Véro, l’Actualité, Le Soleil, Top Santé, Closer, Idées Déco, Rando Québec, Ricardo, and many more!
The trial includes an innovative feature: being able to access the service by simply connecting to the hospital wi-fi network. Thus, no need for complex authentication.
The project is coordinated by the CHU Sainte-Justine communications department and is the subject of a campaign to this effect.
